Items are the secondary part of the player's loadout in Cryptark. The default chassis allows for four items to be equipped at one time.

Functionality varies significantly from item to item, offering offensive, defensive, and utility benefits. At the game's outset, the player possesses the appropriate licenses for only a small selection of items; the rest of the selection will be progressively unlocked upon finding and accessing Tech Advances.

The default controller mapping has one item mapped to each of the cardinal directions on the D-pad.

EMP-F EMP Field Item Once activated, this emitter will bathe an area in a pulse field for several seconds, deactivating any enemy drones trapped inside. 120 second recharge time. $25 - 1
AEGIS Aegis Shell Item This emergency energy shield has a one-shot power cell, but will protect the wearer from all directions for 10 seconds as well as allow their own weapons to fire through it. 120 second recharge time. $20 10 1
HAZRD Hazard Coating Item A mandatory safety feature on most offworld mining facilities; this specialized undercoating protects the hull and pilot from fire and chemical corrosives. Passive Item. $5 0 1
FIX-5 Hull Repair Item This automated field-repair kit quickly deploys pressure-seal-foam, nano-platelets and emergency ribbing to maintain hull integrity until more permanent repairs can be made in hangar. This standard kit restores 5 points of hull strength. $10 - 1
FIX10 Hull Repair Large Item This automated field-repair kit quickly deploys pressure-seal-foam, nano-platelets and emergency ribbing to maintain hull integrity until more permanent repairs can be made in hangar. This deluxe kit restores 10 points of hull strength. $20 - 1

DRONE Boomslang Drone Item Lightweight and nimble, these buddy drones give mobile fire support to their controllers. Equipped with an energy blaster, they will doggedly engage nearby threats. $20 - 2
TURET Capsule Turret Item These portable autonomous defence turrets are common sights on stations where security manpower is short. Equipped with an powerful laser and armour plating, they collapse for easy redeployment to trouble zones. $20 - 2
CLOAK Cloaking Weave Item When activated with its one-shot power cell, this optical camouflage renders the wearer invisible to most visual and infrared spectrums. 90 second recharge time. $20 20 1
KEY Key Code Item Reverse engineered from alien software, this generated key code virus will bypass the lock of a single secured door or airlock. $5 - 1
BUFER Kinetic Buffer Item Consisting of a predictive controller and compensation thrusters, this device drastically reduces the impact of explosives and blows in combat. The wearer is able to maintain their position and isn't knocked off course. Passive Item. $5 0 1
KNOCK Knockback Canisters Item This pack of compressed gas canisters can be individually blown to push away nearby enemies and change the course of incoming projectiles. 60 second recharge time. $10 - 1
SIGHT Laser Sight Item This low-power targeting laser aids in long range engagements with a visual beam. Additionally, it increases all equipped weapon's accuracy and damage by 10%. Passive item. $10 0 1
LOADR Speed Loader Item By replacing receiver and feed-belt parts with superior aftermarket brands and modifications, the rate of fire of all equipped weapons is increased by 20%. Passive Item. $20 0 1
BARRL Precision Barrels Item Swapping inferior stock gunbarrels with precision tooled replacements allows all equipped weapons to increase their accuracy and projectile velocity by 20%. Passive item. $10 0 1

REPSI Repair Siphon Item A modified hacking module, this device jacks into Key Terminals to repair damaged suit hull instead of collecting Key Codes. Careful consideration must be taken to navigate without the use of Keys. $15 0 1
SENSR Sensor Suite Item Deep-wave radar receptors and an advanced 'mole-bat' tunneling processor allow this sensor package to reveal a wider area when faced with an enemy Jammer System. Passive item. $5 - 0
NITRO Nitrus-Oxide Fuel Item Popular with suicidal skiff racers, this high yield rocket juice temporarily gives 80% increased speed to suit thrusters and 40% increased rate of fire. 60 second recharge time. $10 10 1

TBEAC Teleport Beacon Item After placing and activating this local-warp buoy, the user can then teleport back to it when triggered again. Practical for quickly backtracking large spaces, or escaping a deadly situation. $5 - 1
